An investigation into the economic, social, and political forces and events behind the violence plaguing Ciudad Juarez.

In 2008, the murder rate in Juarez was 130 murders per 100,000 inhabitants. This was represented as the #1 city on a global level statistically and exceeded the second-place Caracas’ statistic of 96 murders per 100,000 inhabitants by 35%.

Directed by Charlie Minn, known for his riveting expose The Long Island Railroad Massacre, this feature length documentary covers the events from 2011 with a focus on the victims affected by the ongoing and escalating “drug wars.”

Relying on numerous experts, the film attempts to also forecast Juarez’s future.
